This mural was created for a children's art work shop in Melbourne. The background and animals formed the structure to which 100's of buddding artists added the dots. It was alot of fun and the children achieved a brilliant result!

Anna used EzyShaid wet to paint this picture using her mum's drawing of a fairy. She worked on watercolour paper so that the paper could take a lot of wet pigment without warping.

I shaded the largest areas first (wings and fire) with the lightest colour I intended to use. Then I built up a few more layers of shade with darker colours.
