Step 2: Colour and Cut Out Basket

Sprinkle alternate rows of yellow and orange FLIPTEZ onto your basket. Shade so as to create distinct yellow and orange stripes representing the weave of a basket. Cut out basket. Note: If cutting out the centre is a little tricky for tiny children, direct  them to plunge one point of their scissors through the centre area so they can easily cut out the handle.

Daffodil or Rabbit Decoration
Step 6: Daffodil or Rabbit Decoration

Decide which decoration you would like to add to your basket.

If it is the Daffodil, then cut out a flower from the downloaded daffodil template. Colour it with yellow FLIPTEZ. Using the same template, cut two pieces of orange tissue. Glue centre of tissue onto yellow coloured base and tease tissue to form lovely centre. From the left over green from the egg, cut a stem and glue it to the back of the daffodil. Now glue the flower onto the basket.

If it is the Rabbit, download the rabbit template and cut out a rabbit. Use it to cut out a rabbit from your craft paper. Colour pink . Glue it to the basket.

Complete Basket With Daffodil Decoration
Step 7: Complete Basket With Daffodil Decoration

To complete your basket, glue the eggs to each other and to the basket. Glue the bow to the top of the basket. Now your work is done. As a super surprise you could stick a few tiny Easter Eggs onto the back of your basket with sticky tape. A Great gift! OR you could back your completed work and give as  card, It is fine to write a greeting on the back and give as a card anyway!
