Materials required:
  1. 1xsheet A4 photo copy paper.
  2. Orange, brown and yellow FLIPTEZ.
  3. Black pencil.
  4. Two small eyes.
  5. Glue.
  6. Scissors.
  7. Download of Echidna from, Downloads on the website.
Finish Echidna.
Step 1: Finish Echidna.
  1. Colour A4 sheet of paper with a mix of brown and orange FLIPTEZ.
  2. Fold concertina fashion starting on the LONG edge of the paper. make the folds about 1cm apart.
  3. Once fully pleated, fold in half longwise and glue meeting edges together to form semi circle.
  4. Leave to dry.
  5. Once dry, Cut out triangle from the tip of the quills to form shape as shown. An adult may need to help you do this as the paper is fairly thick.
  6. Take the Echidna Snout from the, 'Download" and colour with yellow FLIPTEZ.
  7. Roll into a cone shape and glue at the back. Pinch the cone to make a head shape. Colour the tip of the face with black pencil.
  8. Glue eyes in place.
  9. Insert quills into the opening on the head and glue in place.
  10. These are really cute and look wonderful in a classroom garden setting.
