Materials required:
  1. 3xA4 white photo copy paper (or similar)
  2. Green Theme Pack (If you don't have this, use the 2 greens from the Starter Pack and Mix blue and yellow in your Blending Pots to make two new greens.)
  3. Spray adhesive
  4. Glue stick
  5. Scissors
  6. Ruler
  7. Pen or pencil
  8. ZIP brush
  9. Download template from the "Downloads" page
  10. Versa Marker pen
Preparing Paper
Step 1: Preparing Paper
  1. Take 2 sheets of A4 paper and divide the paper in halves lengthwise. Either just fold or measure and fold.
  2. Using craft scissors cut in half, giving your 4x A5 pieces of paper.
  3. With your Versa Marker pen, draw lines or scribble over the four pages. (This will create an interesting watermark feature on your completed work)

  1. Apply a different green on all four pieces of paper. Rub hard to make them really dark.
Pleating Paper
Step 3: Pleating Paper
  1. Take the first piece of paper and beginning at one corner, pleat across the whole sheet of paper. (Because you only want the creases to show on the finished work, it is not necessary to fold very much underneath as you would when making a fan.)
  2. Repeat this process with all 4 pieces of paper.

  1. This is how your paper will look.
Spray Papers With Adhesive.
Step 5: Spray Papers With Adhesive.
  1. In a well ventillated area or even outside, spray the papers lightly with adhesive. Hold onto just one corner.
  2. Taking papers back to the covered work area, use a rolling pin or an old bottle to gently rub over the pleats. Be sure to wash the object imediately after you have finished using it!
  3. Place the pieces of paper over one another alternating the light and dark shades. (The adhesive should still be wet enough for the papers to stick together.) 
  4. NOTE:Do not overlap them too much as their must be enough paper to fit the template over.

Download template and cut around it.( The photo copy paper used to download is all you need.)

  1. Making sure you centre the clover to take advantage of the four colours, glue the template onto the back of the four assembled pleated papers.
  2. Cut out clover.

  1. If you only want to make clovers, then your work is done! Making a few different 4 leaf clovers makes for great decorations for St Patrick's Day. Surprise your workmates or family!
  2. This is a great craft idea for schools.The diferent clovers make a fabulous mural. Try It!
St Patrick's Day Card
Step 9: St Patrick's Day Card
  1. If you want to make a St Patrick's Day card, then take your clover and glue it onto the 3rd piece of A4 paper or cardstock. We have used photo copy paper, folded in half.
  2. Use a Banner font to make your greeting. It needs to be at lease 36-48 points to stand out. Either keep the theme green and use green or choose a contrasting colour. Glue clover and greeting onto your card.
  3. NOTE: A5 envelopes can be purchased.
